michael dobbs (he/Him)

Michael, known around here as “Dobbs,” is the owner of CrossFit Murray. He began his journey with CrossFit in July 2015 and then became owner of CFM in October of 2022. He is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer. Dobbs' favorite thing about CrossFit Murray is the community. “There is no way I could perform the way I do today if it weren’t for the community at CrossFit pushing me to be my best each and every day. Even if I am having an ‘off’ day, showing up at the gym makes my day better and I feel so much better afterwards!”

gavin pivoras (HE/HIM)

Gavin started CrossFit in 2015 and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. He has also completed additional training in CrossFit Weightlifting. As a coach, Gavin says that no matter what someone's range of motion or fitness level is he believes fully in their ability to succeed. "There's no other place to go to make yourself better."

Favorite Movement: Squat Snatch

heather pivoras (she/her)

Heather started with CrossFit Murray in 2014 and has become an inspiration to us all. She is currently a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and has a personal message to anyone first starting out in CrossFit: "Stick with it. In the beginning, it can be overwhelming. But if you tough it out, it can be a huge source of pride and accomplishment."

Favorite Workout: Annie

Janine Kruger (she/her)

Janine started her CrossFit journey here at CFM in July 2019. She is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, RYT-200 yoga teacher, RRCA running coach and a NASM certified nutrition coach. She says her favorite thing about coaching is seeing the bonds that are built between people at CrossFit Murray. "I love the energy in the class and the community feeling at the gym. We all support and cheer for each other every day — it’s just the best feeling!"
