Summer's here and it is very important in this heat to stay well hydrated. Most of us are probably not drinking enough water, and when we get to the box, the heat can really do us in. Try this tip to keep a close watch on your hydration. Weigh yourself before and after your workout see if your water intake is sufficient. If there is:

-1 to +1 pounds difference you are well hydrated
-1 to -3 minimally dehydrated
-3 to -5 significantly dehydrated
... -5 or higher seriously dehydrated

All but the first are bad so DRINK UP!

Competing at Screaming Eagle CrossFit

What great fun was had at Screaming Eagle CrossFit yesterday! We are so proud of all of our athletes for showing up and giving their best! CrossFit is not about being the best at competition, it's about being the best YOU that YOU can be. Sometimes, pushing ourselves at a competition helps us get there. Next up, Battle of the Boxes!

July 20th we wil be hosting our first competition! We want ALL our members to participate, even you, the one who is sitting there saying, "oh no, not me!" There will be both RX and scaled division, just like every other day at the box. More information will come later, but please plan on being there! Registration starts at 8, first WOD at 9!
